Brady Benzzz Q&A

You recently competed against Rogue’s own FIFA team. How did that go? What got you there?
I had the opportunity to play against FIFA’s most decorated team, Rogue, a couple of months ago. I took out Goalmachine in the qualifiers and earned a spot at the Echampions League LAN event where I played MsDossary in the first round since I was second to last seed. My match against Goalmachine is one I’ll never forget. It was probably the best series I’ve ever played in FIFA, especially against a top 10 player in the world. In the MsD match I beat him 1-0 in the first leg, but lost brutally in the second. Although it felt a lot closer than the scoreline showed, it taught me the things I needed to change about myself when facing the top players. Overall the experience was incredible, and I can’t wait until my next event.

Did your love for the sport start with the game?
Soccer has been a part of my life from the start. It’s always been in my life so it translated directly into gaming just for fun as a kid. I’d play my brother, and we’d get better and better. Then take it to the neighborhood, always trying to improve. I thought, “Hmm. Maybe I could compete at the next level.” And that was that. In my first year as a competitor I made it to a LAN in London, and won’t stop going for the dream. Especially going into the new year.

What are the best resources for an upcoming FIFA player to get better at the game?
1. If you are not playing better players, you are not getting better. Find someone who wants greatness as badly as you do, and sharpen each other.
2. Practice, practice, practice! There’s no path to greatness that avoids these two rules.

What have been the best and worst jobs you’ve had on the way to where you are now?
I actually haven’t started doing this full time just yet. For the past three years I’ve been pursuing real estate, but I’m slowly transitioning into gaming because it’s so much more fulfilling. It’s in my roots.

What made you start streaming?
The night that Ninja and Drake played together, I knew this was viable, and something the world was interested in. I believed in myself to compete at a high level, and it just made sense to jump in.

Who are the industry professionals that you look up to?
AA9 skills

What keeps you motivated?
Knowing that I haven’t even started on the journey to the top. Hunger for greatness drives me.

What would you say to any young streamers that look up to you?
Patience, keep working, keep innovating. The moment it’s no longer fun, dump it.

Do any special moments stick out since you’ve begun streaming?
It’s just too many to list. Every stream I’m almost in tears from laughter. I wish that everyone could do what they love, make money and feel the same way I do every stream!

What does it mean to be a part of Rogue Nation?
It means a great deal to me. I look forward to all of the opportunites they offer, and can’t wait to meet all of the people in this amazing organization.
